Christmas at Shebbear is always a very special time across the school and we've had a very festive few weeks!

Things kicked off in November with the Friends' Christmas Fair which was a huge success, then came the hilarious and brilliantly produced Sixth Form Panto which has been greatly missed for the last couple of years. The Pre-Prep children performed their Nativity, 'A Miracle in Town' to a real audience for the first time in two years with some fantastic singing - well done to all of them! 

During the last week of term, we were hit by the freezing weather that took the country by surprise - and the boarders had so much fun in the snow building snowmen, before the ice hit, causing disruption to travel for many of our day pupils during the last week of term, although the campus looked very beautiful in temperatures as low as -6! We were able to hold our Prep School Carol Service on the Thursday afternoon, but sadly, due to the roads still being very icy, we had to cancel our Senior Service that evening. The Senior Choir, however, made a guest appearance at the Prep School event, singing a beautiful rendition of Hosanna Hosanna as well as Silent Night. 

Our magical Christmas grotto, snowscene and Prospect Lane (the Shebbear version of Diagon Alley!), which was created by our Maintenance team a few years ago, opened up again, and pupils enjoyed visiting once again.

And finally, we enjoyed a delicious Christmas Lunch on the last day of term!
