We are delighted to welcome Mrs Sadler-Smith, our new Head of Creative, Digital and Performing Arts, to Shebbear College! Mrs Sadler-Smith joins us from St Joseph's School as our second Head of Faculty, bringing with her eleven years of experience as a Head of Music at both state and private schools in the UK. She studied Music at Birmingham Conservatoire as a violin scholar before completing her PGCE at the University of Cambridge.

If you have had the pleasure of meeting Mrs Sadler-Smith already, you will know that she is absolutely bursting with enthusiasm for all things creative! She has a passion for Choirs and Orchestras, which are a big part of her life, and is really looking forward to getting stuck into our co-curricular activities. She has played for local musicals in the area for many years and can’t wait to help bring a little bit of the West End to Shebbear!

A very proud Old Shebbearian herself, Mrs Sadler-Smith she returns to the area with her ever supportive husband, a Royal Marines Officer, as well as her disobedient cocker spaniel!
