The Friends of Shebbear College (our PTA) organised a superb Christmas Fair this year. With impressive lighting, wonderful stalls and fantastic performances from our musicians and singers, it was a huge success with a fantastic atmosphere! We are so grateful for everything from the delicious donations, buying raffle tickets and refreshments to volunteering at the event or entertaining the visitors. The Exhibitors were very impressed by the friendly welcome and help with setting up - many would like to sign up for the next one!

The fair raised over £2,000 and the Frends will now ask the Student Council to canvas the pupils about what this should go towards. In the past the Friends have paid towards the refurb of the House Common Rooms and the development of the Frends' Trail; they annually support Book Buzz and buy the Prep School Easter Eggs - so any ideas for future projects will be considered.
