Welcome back to the academic year 2021-22! 

We welcomed everyone back to school today for what will hopefully be a more normal year! We have a large number of new pupils joining our community across the Prep and Senior School and into the Sixth Form and we would like to send a special welcome to all of them as they start their time at Shebbear College. Our youngest pupils in Reception are pictured here and don't they look smart!

On Friday, our new cohort of Form 1 pupils came in for their induction day. They had an exciting day of team building activities and a tour of the school and hopefully this made them feel a bit more settled for the first day today. 

Our maintenance team have been working extremely hard over the summer on a number of projects. The Art Studios have been completely revamped to form a clean, fresh space for our Artists; we have a brand new Library in Beckly wing which will be developed and run by our new Librarian, Mrs Fanet; Senior Pupils will all have their own locker, situated in the new Beckly Locker Room (which was the old Staff Common Room and we therefore have a new Staff Common Room based in the Recital Room of the old Music School. 

We look forward to an exciting year ahead!
