Friends of Shebbear College

Welcome to The Friends of Shebbear College!

We are a group of friendly parents who regularly meet to discuss, organise and run fundraising events. Run along similar lines as a PTA, The Friends’ primary aim is to raise funds for the school. Over the past few years we have been able to contribute towards the Forest Trail, Prep School play equipment and help towards refurbishing the new House Common Rooms. We provide refreshments at some school events and annually we buy the Prep School Easter Eggs  and cover the fee for Book Buzz, all of which contribute to enrich our children’s school life.

If you are a Shebbear College parent, we would love you to join us! As well as the social benefit of meeting and interacting with other parents, you would become a valued part of the team. We are always looking for fresh, creative ideas for new events to raise money, or maybe you would like to volunteer to help out at School Productions, Fetes or Christmas Fairs. 

We understand that parents are often busy and there isn’t always much spare time but any help is always greatly appreciated, however great or small.
