We held our first Scholars' Masterclass this week, part of our new Scholarships Programme offering a series of masterclasses across the different disciplines.

Art Scholars took part in a full day workshop with local artist Carole Evans, experimenting with photograms and cyanotypes on fabric and creating a quilt. Some really creative work! A-Level artists also had the chance to have a go at the photogram technique.

We hope that these Masterclasses will provide our Scholars with a range of curriculum enrichment and extension opportunities throughout the year, including sessions with external speakers, workshops with professionals in their field and enrichment trips and visits. Scholars will attend four masterclasses a year - two in the Michaelmas term, one in the Lent term and one in the Trinity term, as well as a Scholars’ Dinner held at the end of each academic year.
