Our Music Scholars' Masterclass with professional string ensemble Sorrelli Strings took place today. This morning, GCSE and A-Level Music students joined our Music Scholars for a recital (including taking requests) followed by a specialist session for scholars including an insight to the world of string ensemble music and a chance to perform in front of the professionals. They even treated the whole school to a performance in Chapel this afternoon!

Sorrelli Strings performs at a wide variety of events throughout the world. TV appearances include The X Factor Finals and BBC’s ‘Great Orchestra Challenge’ whilst they have performed extensively live at events such as London Fashion Week, Glastonbury and for Her Majesty the Queen at the Golden Jubilee.
