On Wednesday our U16 rugby players competed at the Rosslyn Park National School Sevens tournament, the biggest rugby tournament in the world! They thoroughly enjoyed the experience, playing RGS High Wycombe, KCS Wimbledon and St George's International School from Luxembourg.

Henry H, who has played in the squad for the last five years, summed up the day. 'There was a lot of anticipation this morning as we walked past the bigger schools like Harrow and Eton. In the first game, we played with confidence after getting the first points and only just lost out. Going into the second match we didn't shy away and everything about the way we approached the game was class. I think we surprised them and showed them a bit of North Devon! We went in to the last game with the attitude to bring home a win and have some fun while doing it. We got the victory and rounded off a great season and five years of playing together.'

The boys showed some fantastic performances and, as always, great team spirit. Well done boys, you really did Shebbear College proud!
