After a three year break - we re-launched our U11 Rugby Festival at the weekend, welcoming club teams from Bude, Bideford, Okehampton, Barnstaple, Withycombe, Exmouth and Exeter Athletic to take part in a round robin tournament, where everyone played each other! As well as familiar local derbies, the festival saw some brand new fixtures between clubs that wouldn't usually play each other. 

It was a pleasure to host this exciting event, with the emphasis of the day being enjoyment, sportsmanship and development. We were lucky enough to welcome Old Shebbearian Clara Nielson back to the College to present the medals at the end, which were based on our school values and awarded to players across the different teams who had displayed Courage, Confidence, Courtesy, Compassion, Creativity and Curiosity. 

A special mention to our Senior Boys who helped support the teams and to our Shebbear U11 boys, who played for their clubs - and did them proud!

We're looking forward to next year already!
