A huge well done to our five pupils who represented Shebbear College and swam as part of the South West Region team in the ISA Schools National Swimming Finals on Sunday - a brilliant achievement in itself!

Special congratulations to Archie and his 3 teammates who finished 3rd in the 200m Boys Year 7 Freestyle Relay and gained a bronze medal - WELL DONE!

Jack, Ellie, Evelyne, Archie and Alfie all swam their very best in their respective relays and cheered each other on in true Shebbearian style - with Ellie and Alfie doing fantastically in their individual races and Ellie recording a personal best. The level of swimmers was of an extremely high standard and it was quite apparent that some of those on view will be representing Team GB in the future. Archie and Alfie also got to meet GB Volleyball Olympian, Peter Bakare, during the event!

Congratulations to them all - an experience they will never forget!
