We are seeking a dynamic Head of Prep to lead our Prep School through the next exciting phase of our school’s journey. The successful candidate needs to have the experience and energy to enthuse and instil confidence in their team of staff, pupils and parents about the opportunities a Shebbear education can provide.

The Head of Prep works as part of the College’s Senior Leadership Team and will take on appropriate whole school responsibility alongside leading the Prep School. Accommodation on the College site may be available in order to support the better fulfilment of the role

We are seeking a dynamic and effective individual to lead the academic side of school life. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced middle or senior leader to work with a committed team to ensure we consistently get the best from our pupils.

The successful candidate will have leadership experience within the field of teaching and learning and be willing and able to work collegiately alongside colleagues to get the best from them in a busy educational environment.

The option of accommodation on the school campus may be available for the right candidate in order to facilitate optimum delivery within the role whilst being immersed in the life and leadership of a busy day and boarding school.
