It’s the end of term – Happy Christmas!

It’s the end of quite a strange term, but we’ve had such a fun-packed, busy couple of weeks. From Christmas parties for our Boarders to virtual Christmas Concerts, Head’s Chapels and our Carol Service, a very jolly virtual Pre-Prep performance and visits to our brilliant Christmas Village, Prospect Lane, created by our Maintenance Team.

We also managed to fit in the House Song Competition with renditions of ‘Sweet Caroline’ by Thorne (see what they did there – Mrs Kirby was the judge!), ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ by Pollard, ‘Our House’ by Ruddle and ‘Reach for the Stars’ by Way – congratulations to Pollard House who were the winners! Thorne House are still in the lead for overall House Points at the end of this term.

And, of course, the term ended with our traditional Christmas Dinner. Although it was a bit different to previous years – as each bubble had to eat separately – it was still great fun, with lots of singing (particularly from Mrs Lovett!), cracker pulling, paper crown wearing and Christmas jumpers. Thank you to the fabulous Catering Team for all their hard work – it was delicious!

Happy Christmas to everyone, from all of us at Shebbear College!
