Sixth Form Scholarship Awards

Every year Shebbear College awards a number of Sixth Form Scholarships.

The funding for the scholarship awards comes from the OSA (Old Shebbearians’ Association) Memorial Fund which was endowed in the 1920s by various families associated with the College and given in memory of over fifty former pupils who lost their lives between 1914 and 1918.

This scholarship programme provides the opportunity for successful applicants to join the school at a significantly discounted rate, meaning that any student can attend our school, regardless of household income.

This initiative is open to talented students with strong academic results at GCSE level and a proven track record in one of the main extra-curricular activities available at Shebbear College such as sport, music, drama, art or outdoor challenges.

Applications are invited in writing and will be considered on a means-tested basis. We will also need to contact your current school for a reference.
