A group of courageous pupils and staff, led by Ms Vetch, took on an inspiring challenge last week – shaving their heads to raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
In an act of solidarity for those affected by cancer, the team of “Sheb Shavers” bravely said goodbye to their hair on Friday in front of a supportive school community. The initiative highlighted both the personal impact of cancer and the importance of standing together to make a difference.
The event proved to be a huge success, with the group smashing their original fundraising target of £1,000 and raising an incredible £1,980 so far.
The atmosphere on the day was fantastic, as pupils and staff alike cheered on the participants. The newly-shaven volunteers are now proudly sporting their bold new looks, having demonstrated remarkable courage and commitment to the cause.
Every donation will go towards supporting Macmillan’s vital work, providing care and guidance to people living with cancer and their families at some of the most difficult times in their lives.
