A huge shoutout to our U18 boys and U14 girls who are heading home after an awesome time at the Rosslyn Park 7s. The standard was sky‑high as always, but both teams rose to the challenge and all players can be very proud of what they’ve achieved!

The U18s had three tough games and showed just how far their 7s has come. The lads left everything on the pitch and delivered some brilliant rugby for all the parents who travelled to cheer them on.

Our first ever girls team to attend, the U14s did so in outstanding fashion. Overcoming some early nerves they won all their group games to make it to the Cup competition where they lost out to a very strong Hill House. We’re looking forward to all of these girls returning next year to continue what they’ve started with both an U14 and U16 girls’ team!

The U13 and U15 Girls’ Rugby teams also achieved outstanding success at the ISA South West Rugby 7s tournament – winning all their matches and securing two trophies for Shebbear College. Both teams demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork and determination throughout the tournament, showcasing fast, fearless rugby and representing the school with pride. Their unbeaten performances highlight the incredible progress of girls’ rugby at Shebbear and the passion our players bring to the sport.

These victories are an inspiring milestone for the programme, with the girls leading the way and setting a fantastic example for future teams.
