Sixth Form

Last Thursday, our Sixth Form students enjoyed a memorable night at the beautiful Buckland House in Buckland Filleigh as they gathered for the much‑loved annual Rounsefell Dinner.

The evening began with a delicious three‑course meal prepared by The Black River Inn, before students took to the dance floor to enjoy live music from local band The Waves Collective. Joining them for the celebration were members of the Sixth Form tutor team, Mr Jenkins, and guest speaker Jamie Sanders, President of the Old Shebbearians’ Association. Jamie shared fond memories of his own time at the college and spoke about the experience of becoming an Old Shebbearian.

Heads of School, Lucia and Albert, also addressed their peers during the dinner, offering thoughtful reflections on the year so far.

The Rounsefell Dinner remains a cherished tradition in the Sixth Form calendar – an opportunity for students to come together, celebrate their achievements, and enjoy one of the many social events that make their final years at school so special. It was, once again, a wonderful evening for all involved.
