The new term of sport is well underway, and our pupils have thrown themselves into the action with enthusiasm, skill and team spirit. With a busy programme of fixtures already completed—and many more still to come—the momentum across all year groups is continuing to build.
This term, Netball and Football take centre stage, with teams from across the school representing us in a full calendar of local and regional competitions. Early results have been hugely promising, with players demonstrating real progress, determination and teamwork on the courts and pitches.
Alongside these main sports, pupils have also enjoyed exciting opportunities in Rugby 7s and Girls’ Rugby, both of which have seen fantastic levels of participation and some impressive performances already. From fast‑paced 7s tournaments to strong showings in girls’ fixtures, our squads have embraced every challenge with energy and commitment.
With plenty more matches, tournaments and training sessions still on the horizon, it promises to be an action‑packed term for sport at Shebbear College. We look forward to celebrating the achievements of our teams in the weeks ahead!
