At Shebbear College, learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door, and our youngest pupils are proving just how exciting education can be when it’s hands-on and full of adventure!
Reception and Pre-Prep pupils are heading to Beach School each week, where they explore the coast through geography, wildlife studies, and visits to local businesses. These sessions spark curiosity and help children connect with the world around them in meaningful ways.
Meanwhile, our Nursery children become ‘Little Farmers’ every Friday, meeting a new animal each week and bringing their farmyard learning to life. From feeding goats to cuddling rabbits, these experiences are helping to build confidence, empathy, and a love of nature.
These weekly adventures are a wonderful way to nurture curiosity, creativity, and independence… and the smiles say it all!
