Shebbear girls are making their mark this term, embracing every opportunity to challenge themselves and shine across a range of sports!

This week saw our U15 footballers travel to Clifton College to compete in the prestigious ISFA Shield, where they demonstrated fantastic teamwork, resilience, and a growing confidence on the pitch.

Meanwhile, girls from Form 1–3 took part in a rugby festival at Bude RFC, showing impressive progress and enthusiasm throughout the day. A proud moment for Ms Vetch came when the girls were asked whether they preferred touch or contact rugby and without hesitation, they chose contact all the way!

“It’s brilliant to see our girls stepping up and trying new things,” said Ms Vetch. “Their determination and team spirit are what Shebbear sport is all about.”

With more fixtures and festivals ahead, girls’ sport at Shebbear College is thriving — and we couldn’t be prouder!
