Rugby Sport
We are really proud of our U14 and U16 rugby squads, who both competed at the Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens Tournament last week.
Rosslyn Park is the largest – and toughest – schools sport tournament in the world and is a great opportunity for the players in terms of both rugby and life experience. As a small school (one of the smallest schools there), to have taken two teams this year is a real achievement – and they all did fantastically against some really tough teams from big schools – our U14s even had a match on the main pitch with a live commentary and streamed online to a large audience!
We didn’t go with the expectation of winning, but by being there, we continue to punch above our weight as a small school. Well done all!
