Gig Night took place on Tuesday 11th February and it was bigger and better than ever with our rock, metal, pop, indie and jazz musicians and awesome tech team leaving the audience wowed and in high spirits!
We enjoyed some absolutely outstanding vocal, drum, guitar and piano covers of songs by Laufrey, Linkin Park, Arctic Monkeys, Amy Winehouse and Metallica among many others. We also had a record number of bands this year playing without backing tracks and really showcasing the raw talent we have here at Shebbear College.
As well as the bands, solos by Lucia and Cesca nearly brought us to tears, while Jon-Christopher’s 9 minute drum solo was a definite highlight, not to mention all our other musicians who really put their all into their performances, as well as Lily and William who were excellent comperes and the tech team of Albert and Dylan who provided all of the sound and lighting for the event
