Our Form 5 and U6 GCSE and A-Level Art & Design students enjoyed a cultural trip to London this week to kick start their exam projects. The students visited Borough Market, The Design Museum, the Tate Modern and The National Portrait Gallery to gain inspiration for their own work, spending time taking high quality photographs – looking at macro (close up), interesting viewpoints (eg bird’s eye, ant), depth of field and composition – and creating drawings in situ. A fantastic experience and a trip that will definitely be repeated!
