Drama and Performing Arts Scholars took part in their first Scholars’ Masterclass of the academic year last week, a practical acting workshop with Actor Sara Pruce from The Plough Theatre in Torrington.
Sara worked with the pupils on two areas of focus: a ‘Monologue Lab’, where they worked on two contemporary monologues and looked at preparing for an
audition; and a ‘Building a Character’ workshop, looking at methods, techniques and tricks from casting to performance.
