Huge congratulations to Toby in Lower Sixth who has been offered a place to study Orchestral Percussion at the Royal College of Music Junior Department (RCMJD) – a specialist, term-time only, Saturday school offering advanced training to musicians aged 8–18. 

Talented drummer Toby auditioned for the place last weekend and obviously impressed the adjudicators!This is a fantastic opportunity which involves him travelling up to London every Saturday to the Royal College of Music. Toby starts his lessons in January and will be involved in a tailor made programme of individual lessons as well as playing in groups and the orchestra and sessions in general musicianship. He will have the opportunity to take part in a number of concerts at major venues including Cadogan Hall and the Royal Albert Hall.
