IT Support Technician
To start as soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint an IT Support Technician to join our team at Shebbear College. The successful candidate should be motivated, confident, articulate, organised, be able to work independently and possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

The IT Support Technician is an important part of the ICT team. The school is increasingly dependent on its ICT and audio visual systems working properly and efficiently. A proactive and planned approach is essential to ensure the ICT infrastructure enables the school to work to optimum effect.

It is essential that the school is at the forefront of efficient, effective and reliable systems which contribute to the school’s vision of raising achievement through Digital Technology.

This is a full time post.

Shebbear College is a small co-educational independent day and boarding school set in 85 acres of North Devon countryside. The school benefits from the security and camaraderie of its membership of MIST (the Methodist Independent Schools Trust).

BENEFITS OF SERVICE

  • Working in a small friendly school in a stunning rural location
  • Salary range £16,000 – £22,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
  • Hours 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch. Some weekend or out of hours working may be required
  • 20 days holiday per annum plus 8 days Bank and Public holidays

Housekeeper

To start: as soon as possible

We are looking to appoint a full time Housekeeper to join our Housekeeping team, on a fixed term contract to end August 2021. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a friendly team who play a key role in the school.

Shebbear College is a small co-educational independent day and boarding school set in 85 acres of North Devon countryside. The school benefits from the security and camaraderie of its membership of MIST (the Methodist Independent Schools Trust).

Experience would be useful although full training will be given.

Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, term time plus an additional four weeks.
