Level 3 (minimum) Early Years Practitioner

To start January 2021

We are seeking to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated practitioner to join our team within the Pre-School at Shebbear College.

We are looking for someone who works well as part of a team, who is proactive and who develops positive relationships with staff and pupils.

Hours will be 8.15am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday, term time only.

The successful candidate will be expected to continue their professional development, attending courses provided by Devon County and internal INSET days arranged by the College.

Shebbear College is a small co-educational independent day and boarding school set in 85 acres of North Devon countryside. The school benefits from the security and camaraderie of its membership of MIST (the Methodist Independent Schools Trust).

Day Matron

To start January 2021

We are seeking to appoint a Day Matron to join our team at Shebbear College. This is a key appointment and applications are sought from individuals capable of maintaining and further enhancing Shebbear College’s reputation for providing outstanding care of young people.

Previous experience of working with young people is essential. This is a non-residential, non-teaching post.

Shebbear College is a small co-educational independent day and boarding school set in 85 acres of North Devon countryside. The school benefits from the security and camaraderie of its membership of MIST (the Methodist Independent Schools Trust).

BENEFITS OF SERVICE

  • Working in a small friendly school in a stunning rural location
  • Salary £11,670. (FTE £14,800)
  • Hours 10am – 3pm (25 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 37 weeks per annum
  • 4 weeks holiday per annum (FTE 5.6 weeks)
