Our First Week Back!

Jo ConwayEvents

We have had a great first week back after six months away from school!

It was great to see our new Form 1 (Year 7) pupils here for their Induction Day on Tuesday, and all of our pupils from Pre-School to Upper 6 came back to school on Wednesday 2nd September!

All of our pupils are operating in year-group ‘bubbles’, with those in the same bubble able to interact closely with each other without the need to socially distance. Lunch time consisted of a highly organised one-way system (our Compliance Manager, Mrs Clewley, has been busy!) with bubbles eating at specific times and cleaning taking place in between bubble usage.

Form 2 (Year 8) have already managed to fit in an afternoon at Cookworthy Forest for Outdoor Education, taking part in camouflage challenges, dam building and river crossings (Mr Pomroy was the bridge tester!). They also enjoyed some mindfulness – sitting quietly and drawing – and finished off with some Andy Goldsworthy style art!
