International pupils visit Morwellham Quay

Our international pupils and summer school visitors enjoyed a glorious day out at Morwellham Quay where they learned all about school life, fashion, food and work in Victorian England. After attending the Victorian school they had the opportunity to dress up in authentic Victorian clothes, according to their class and financial status. After a group photograph they got changed and headed down the valley to a small train which took them along the Tamar, into the copper mine and out the other side. They learned about the tough working conditions and poor pay for the miners of the time.
