2nd XV v Trinity 1st XV: won 26-5
The 2nd XV took the first half to warm up against Trinity but when they did they played superbly, scoring tries from all over the field, including a cross field kick from Cameron Young to Sean So to score in the corner. It was an excellent performance from all, particularly some of the younger players against a physical Trinity side.

2nd XV v Kingsley 1st XV: lost 31-0
The 2nd XV did not react to a physical and forward dominated Kingsley 1st XV and as a result made the game very hard work. Rather than play to our strengths, Shebbear tried to match Kingsley’s limited game plan and play a narrow game, this meant we were always under pressure and our defence was tested. Kingsley went on to win 31-0. Despite this, it is worth noting that this was Kingsley’s 1st team and our 2nd XV, with a number of Form 5 students, did well to compete and certainly looked the better organised and more skilled side.
