Sixth Form Scholarships
Our Sixth Form Scholarships – offering significant reductions in tuition fees of up to 80% – are now available to talented students interested in joining our Sixth Form in September 2026.
The new Scholarships, implemented last academic year and enabled under the ownership of Inspired Learning Group (ILG), are available to students who excel academically, in sport or in the performing and creative arts. They can be awarded in combination with a bursary.

Although our official deadline has passed, we are still accepting applications for Sixth Form Scholarships.
We understand that in today’s economic climate, the decision to choose an independent school is a significant one for families, particularly in our region. For many, this choice may feel out of reach.
We want to make Shebbear College more accessible and in response have launched a new Sixth Form Scholarship programme, offering substantial tuition fee reductions. We hope this initiative will open the door to new students, celebrate excellence and provide new opportunities.

Who can apply?
These Scholarships are open to students currently in Year 11, who would join Lower Sixth either as day or boarding pupils in September 2026. Scholarships are awarded on merit and potential, as well as the ability to be a positive role model.
Scholars’ Programme
Pupils who are awarded scholarships will be placed on our Scholars’ Programme, where they will have access to a range of curriculum enrichment and extension opportunities throughout the year, including sessions with external speakers, workshops with professionals in their field and enrichment trips and visits as well as leadership opportunities.
