Pupils at Shebbear are offered a range of additional experiences which enrich the curriculum. Everyone is encouraged to participate in a number of exciting and challenging extra-curricular activities after school, in the evenings and at weekends.

The programme is designed to broaden horizons and develop not only interests but personal qualities such as leadership, confidence and tenacity. Given our wonderful location, close to both sea and moor, outdoor pursuits are extremely popular. For the more intrepid there are the Ten Tors Challenge, The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and Army Cadets.
