The library provides study facilities, computer access and a selection of books, magazines and other resources to support pupils and staff with their academic work and for recreational activities.

The college collection of books is supplemented by an exchange collection from the Schools’ Library Service to which Shebbear College subscribes.  These books can be exchanged at regular intervals – a good way of ensuring that our library is kept up to date.  Books can be borrowed by all members of the college community and a simple issuing system enables loans to be made at any time.

In addition, topic collections can be ordered by staff to support work in the classrooms.
