Ruddle House is a girl’s ‘home from home’. The girls have every opportunity to relax, play and achieve in our modern house with pretty much everything the ‘girl of today’ could wish for. It has a ‘girly’ atmosphere where the girls have facilities that make everything possible. Each room has its very own internet connection, the house living room area has facilities where the girls are seen playing on the Wii, watching DVDs or baking cup cakes.

The opportunity is open for those interested to horse ride by arrangement, keep fit on our astro turf, or in the fitness suite and dance studio. All facilites are open for our boarders to use in the evenings. Bowling trips, BBQs, themed dinners, discos, summer and Christmas balls provide something for everyone to look forward to.

The girls have the security of close supervision by our experienced and caring House staff, but they are given the freedom to grow and mature within the remit of a ‘family environment’.

The beauty of a boarding life for all the girls is the healthy balance between working hard in a structured and disciplined academic sense and then the opportunity to flourish and enjoy healthy, good-hearted fun.
